The decision to pursue therapy is an exciting step toward building the life you want. By working together, we can get to a different place than we can achieve on our own. Whether this is your first experience or you are continuing a long-term engagement with therapy, I am excited to join you. I offer therapy for depression and anxiety, couples counseling, family counseling, grief counseling, work and career issues, ADHD, PTSD, trauma focused therapy, oppositional defiant disorder/intermittent explosive disorder, eating disorders, stress management and more.
I hold a B.S. in Social Psychology from Park University with an emphasis in Human Development and Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at El Paso. I have served 15 years in the United States Army Reserves as a Combat Medic until I commissioned into the Texas Nation Guard. I am originally from Philadelphia but have called El Paso home for the past 14 years. I am licensed as Clinical Social Worker Supervisor in Texas (63258) and New Mexico (C-11940). Addition, I’m am a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD).
I am passionate about providing therapy to all people, especially fellow military veterans. I provide high-quality therapy without judgment, doubt, or misinformation. I pride myself on working with clients to establish a collaborative relationship based on each person's ability to make choices and manage their own life. I believe everyone has a unique path towards inner peace that demands an equally unique therapeutic perspective. I blend a variety of techniques to tailor my approach to treatment for each individual. Life is full of challenges; I would love to help you on your journey.
